MAROTTI CAMPI

LE MARCHE

Pathway through vineyards at Marotti Campi

THE FAMILY

The Marotti Campi estate is one of the most important in the Castelli di Jesi zone and has been a leading producer of hand-crafted Verdicchio and Lacrima di Morro d’Alba for generations. The farm, founded in the 19th century, has 52 hectares planted to vine, all of which are cultivated using sustainable techniques.

In 1991 Giovanni Marotti Campi started a major renovation project of the vineyards, focusing the production with a focus on the two most typical grapes of the area, Verdicchio and Lacrima di Morro d’Alba. His passion for this land and for the family Estate drove him to build a new winery in 1999 and along with his wife Francesca and his son Lorenzo decided to bring new life and energies to this place. Today Giovanni still manages the estate along with Lorenzo and Francesca. In addition, they are proud to have a team of people that have worked the land with them for three generations and that put the same passion into this work as they do.
