Not long ago Alfonso Soranzo set aside the horn he had trained to play since childhood to pick up a shovel and get to work in the vineyards. He manages a small property with his father in the Colli Euganei, southwest of Padova. He crafts unique wines of great character using biodynamic principles in the vineyard and little intervention in the cellar.
